Cyrus takes aim at marijuana image

Singer and actress Miley Cyrus has distanced herself from a photograph that shows her smoking what appears to be marijuana joint.

An image seemingly showing the former Disney star surrounded by smoke accompanied by the caption “High as [expletive]” was posted by a user called “Mileyxxcyrus” on photo-sharing website Instagram on Tuesday.

The snap was picked up by several news outlets, but Cyrus has moved swiftly to distance herself from the controversy.

In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, “I don’t have an Instagram.”

Cyrus has previously been caught on camera smoking a hallucinogenic legal high, but she subsequently admitted she had made a “bad decision” over the 2010 incident, which came just days after she celebrated her 18th birthday.
